Tan - Translucent Collection

The natural slate layer has a 1.5–2.5 mm thickness. Other layers consist of two layers of polyester resin. Our products have standard specifications and sizes. Each piece has a unique natural texture of the original slate. Materials have excellent flexibility, high malleability, and require low transportation costs. They are very cost-effective and very easy to install during construction, even for DIY at home, with a very low loss rate. The backing-light series are highly recommended to apply to acrylic, plexiglass, lexan, and tempered glass to express the stone texture on the front of LED.

This product does not come with a built-in light source. To achieve the translucent effect, an external lighting source, such as an LED panel or a similar light, must be installed behind it. Natural light is also effective for this purpose.
The illumination of tones and colors primarily depends on the lighting source, rather than the stone veneers themselves.

What you should know before ordering

Ultra-Thin Stone Veneers: Our veneers have thicknesses ranging from 1/16” to 3/16”, making them ultra-thin and unsuitable as countertops or flooring. The surfaces are textured, neither even nor glossy.
Scratch Resistance: Slate decors like Asita and Mantra may not be scratch-resistant. To prevent scratches, we recommend using a stone protection sealant.
Natural Stone Surface: Each stone veneer is peeled from natural stone, resulting in unique textures. As they are purely natural, each piece is distinct. Tone, veins, and patterns may vary, especially if veneered from different stone slabs. For more consistent patterns, order sufficient pieces of the same size at once.
Surface Roughness Index (SRI): SRI, ranging from 1 to 4, indicates our veneers' texture roughness. It measures the degree of uneven, undulating surfaces, not texture richness, with 1 being the lowest and 4 the highest.
Cutting Method: While SRI 1 – 2 models can be cut with long cut snips, a circular saw or track saw is recommended for all decors for optimal results.
